Bancontact is a Belgian payment method for Debit cards with which the merchant obtains a payment guarantee and eliminates the risk of chargebacks. At the Bancontact checkout customers enter their card details and are then directed to their own online bank where they simply need to authorize the payment they have just made.

Credits (refunds) are possible via a Server-to-Server connection. For a Credit with reference to a capture the amount of the Credit is limited to the amount of the previous capture. To carry out a credit with a reference transaction, please use the following URL:
